This book is both: a story and can show what you can do when you feel rejected. It also shows you how many girl styles there are in the world and that we should accept their differences no matter how bad or weird they look.
Oh, and another thing, some parts make you kind of say: « SAY SOMETHING!!!» or « Why didn't you just say : _________________?». Stuff like that and maybe at the beginning it's a bit more complicated but this book is the 2nd and I don't have 1st book.

Description
Kate and Marylin have been friends forever except for this year when they want to be friends again but don't know how. But the only problem is that every second they are growing more and more unalike and that's the hardest thing they ever had to deal with! It would be sooooo much easier if Kate would take on Marylin's fashion advice and would let go the guitar. Why the heck is cheerleading more important than friendship to Marylin? One day, they began to hang out with each other but never became BFF's ever again.
Age: 8-9+
